Words can get this characteristics of nice-little-cute with the ending -ito or -ita (for female words), -itos or -itas (for plurals). If the word ends on an -a or an -o this last vocal is left out and the ending -ito is appended. The correspondence with gender and number has to be given for those words that require it also without any extra ending.
