20.3.7 deber
de as expression of presumption |
If not quite sure about something a presumption is often
offered.
Well, I'm not quite sure but it should
be my car.
Well, how am I supposed to know? I would
say it should be his fault.
|
In Spanish a presumption is expressed with the indicativo
of
deber even if
that sounds in the translation a bit weird.
Debe de ser su
coche.
= This shall be his car. (This should be
his car, but we are not sure about it)
